Remote Learning

If parents or students have questions regarding lessons, expectations, or specific technology resources, they should direct those questions to their teachers through the communication platform they currently use amongst them.

If teachers or staff have questions regarding lessons and expectations, they should direct those questions to their school principal or direct supervisor.  Teachers' technology or software questions can be directed to Technology Services or Educational Technology via the Help Desk, Web Help Desk Tickets, phone, and email.

Beaufort County School District teachers utilize Google Classroom as the learning management system for delivering content, lesson, discussion, supplemental resources and more with their students. Students already use this daily when in school, but this will be an essential recourse for eLearning.

Teachers utilize a variety of software to make engaging and relevant lessons for learning. Some of these resources are free for educators while others may require a purchase and license. BCSD has purchased a variety of software to support content. Below is a list of software purchased by BCSD and accessible through ClassLink.

Teachers are highly encouraged to use software already familiar to their students to ease in transition to virtual learning.
